Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

There's nothing special I can tell you about myself, I'm a pretty simple person. I am from the United Kingdom and about to celebrate my 24th birthday in July. I work in the computer sector for the NHS in the UK. I've always enjoyed my games, but I've always tended to enjoy any game with a game editor. I was quite late to the party, only discovering Arma 2 late on, but I was ready and waiting for Arma 3.

Can you give us a quick introduction to your winning creation?

I designed this mission for people that enjoy piloting within the game and to find a worthwhile and enjoyable scenario to play. The story behind the scenario is you're a civilian pilot on duty at an Altis rescue air base

Where did the idea come from? How did it start, and what did you use as inspiration? Can you tell us a bit more about the development process?

The whole idea started when I began making scenarios for myself in singleplayer so that I could enjoy piloting with things going on in the environment. For example, when I flew out to a location, I would find people waiting to be picked up and the location will change, giving me a reason to be flying and give you a sense of purpose. This lead onto the release of my first pilot mission, and with a small following requesting more, I started to make some with different aircraft that eventually lead up to the rescue scenario.

What are you the most proud of?

I would have to say I am proud of the recognition from the community and of my Steam group for talking to me on a direct and regular basis. I have to admit I do enjoy publishing and mission creating for the fans and community.

And what’s next?

I believe a short break is in order, but I want to carry on scripting the pilot mission series and keep developing it into better scenarios, trying to keep it fresh with new helicopters and jets in the future.
