Making community, not conflict
How genU’s GAMER program uses Arma to level up mental health
The Don't Fight Alone initiative seeks to raise awareness about the benefits of video games for veterans recovering from emotional and physical trauma, and mental health in general.
As part of Make Arma Not War 2025, we are offering a $3,000 prize for mods that reduce in-game toxicity, encourage positive communication, and/or directly help veterans suffering from mental health issues.
We are partnering with Stack Up to help support veterans through video games, and are working with leading researchers in the field to produce content to raise awareness about this initiative.
We want to help veterans and anyone suffering from mental health issues through our platform and create a supportive and positive environment for all Arma Reforger players.
Learn more about the therapeutic value of video games and the online communities around them. Insights from the personal experience of a veteran to the researchers in the field and the CEO of Stack Up, a non-profit organization that helps veterans with video games.
